Audio4Lyfe Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Hey guys, i need some advice here. Im going to be running these 6.5 components http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27343_RE-Audio-XXX6.5C.html, an these new re audio 6x9's, http://reaudio.com/fullcomps.php, Now my question is will i have to run 2 separate amplifiers? Cause the rms i will be running will be more than any 4 channel amp puts out without bridging it. Thanks for any help!
IBleedMusick Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 The rms on each component is 150. The page to the by 9's is dead so I don't know the rms of those *EDIT* okay so the rms of the by 9's is 240w rms. But there are plenty of amps that will play those at full rms and then some. The DC 175.4(175wx4@4ohms), Sundown 200.4(200wx4@4ohms), Crescendo C1100.4(180wx4@4ohms). I would go with the sundown audio 200.4, you're not going to notice an audible difference in 40w rms when you're running 200w to each speaker. 2013 Dodge Charger Build Log 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0Build Log 2005 Honda Civic LX Coupe Build Log SMD SUPER SELLER!!!!My Selling Feedback
Audio4Lyfe Posted May 3, 2012 Author Report Posted May 3, 2012 Okay thanks man. So your saying i can run a single amp to both sets of components?
IBleedMusick Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 Yeah they come with crossovers so you would be running a mid and tweeter on each channel no issues no special wiring very strait forward setup that should get loud. 2013 Dodge Charger Build Log 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0Build Log 2005 Honda Civic LX Coupe Build Log SMD SUPER SELLER!!!!My Selling Feedback
