R James Trapp Posted May 9, 2012 Report Share Posted May 9, 2012 I'd say not true. Especially with pioneer. You still get the hpf and lpf and all the control that comes with it. I think the z140 has 4volt preouts also so you won't be sacrificing anything. You may get lost in all the things it will do but sound quality is just as good as non video units.
