Crandis16 Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) hey, I have a buddy helping me with my system and he has taught me the basics to the torres' box tuning calculator. I am building a ported enclosure for a VVX-12 Skar audio sub in my car, and I am not familiar with the general rules of thumb for the port dimensions. Check this out and please help me out and point me in the right direction. I'm aiming for 35Hz btw. Thanks a lot. will77530 Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 so you see the box on the bottome right that says port area range just make sure your port area is in that range Quote

Crandis16 Posted May 7, 2012 Author Report Posted May 7, 2012 so you see the box on the bottome right that says port area range just make sure your port area is in that range by port area, is it talking about the cross-sectional area of the port? or a top-view looking at L-shaped area?
