Jessica
Does your head unit support wma? I believe WMA has a lossless option, i've never tried it but if you ripped cd's with that, it may help with quality. The files are probably gonna be huge though This. Unless it is LOSSLESS- then it doesn't really matter. And x2,356 on skipping. I put in a CD the other day and was like WTH?!?! I couldn't even begin to turn it up before skip skip skip. I'm looking at your build log and all i can say is, hmm i wonder why cd's skip in your ride? lol Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. It is amazing what someone can get used to. im not trying to sound dumb for the thread. i just heard people before saying burning to a cd is better quality, just wanted some input=) Not at all- it is a good question. No doubt though, CD is better than MP3. But like has been said, if you convert from mp3 to regular CD, then you still have the lowered quality. The only way is to have an original CD or CD burned from Lossless format. Crandis16
im not trying to sound dumb for the thread. i just heard people before saying burning to a cd is better quality, just wanted some input=) From what I understand, if you play from your ipod then you are losing sound quality. Apparently ipods compress the files which is why this happens. You might have heard that CD is better quality than ipod, that would make sense. teamace24
If you get say a song from youtube and downloaded as wma lossless wouldnt that do nothing since the source is not lossless to begin with? Or will it actually upgrade the youtube song by converting it to lossless?
