Mrbass100 Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 Hi everybody on this forum, i have a pioneer tsw3001d4 subwoofer, do i need to subtract woofer displacment from cubic volume. Pioneer say on the specs for the sub they recomend 1.2 cu.ft enclosure for ported and they say that it includes woofer displacement. So do i need to subract the woofer displacement from the 1.2 cu.ft box or do i just design an ported enclosure that has 1.2cu.ft volume inside and place the subwoofer inside it? Just to let you know I know about the port takes up volume inside the box, but not sure on woofer displacment.
