HatersGonnaHate
Hit the nail on the head with that lol. No one will see it behind the panel and it should work just fine. nik12937
Make an MDF ring for possibly improved midbass, I stay away from plastic mounts because of resonance. Like with my front 6.5 Infinity's, on the stock plastic mounts certain frequencies would cause random parts in my door to rattle, not with the wooden baffles. More mass helps I guess. Quote A kid I know says he's running 3000 watts to an MTX sub. I kept my expectations low since most people think MAX is what the amp produces. Look in his car, amplifier is not only a BOSS, but says 3000 watts max, 500 watts rms... WHAT?!
tbake223
Question: Will you get a louder, better sounding speaker that is lower RMS powered by your head unit or running 100 watt rms mids without an amp?? Reason being...well I bought 4 infinity kappa 6x8 2 ways with the external crossover for about 70 a pair, not 100% satisfied with the lack of bass from them, i do not have an amp running on them yet but the upper registars sound very well. My Headunit is kinda garbage too. Will a 4 chan make a world of difference? suggestions? Also Why does everyone like rockford mids and highs? I dont understand they look like sony garbage, specs dont really show the best materials, and the freq response doesnt go that low. cgomez90
Thanks for the advice/suggestions so far guys. Why should I go 6.5 instead of 6x8''? Try Digital designs cs6.5 Great for the price.
