soundstream15 Posted June 19, 2012 Report Posted June 19, 2012 im getting a new deck and plan to upgrade to alpine decks, they seem really nice. im looking at the cde-122 its cheap and looks solid. does anyone have expereince with this deck? it dont say there is a sub level control but i would assume it would. also if anyone does have expereince what does this unit clip at. do you have to have the sub level control up all the way for alpines?

b-dubs89 Posted June 19, 2012 Report Posted June 19, 2012 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500CDE122/Alpine-CDE-122.html?search=cde-122&skipvs=T#details-tab looks like it should an ok deck . i have had a couple alpine , a cda-9851 and a cde-9874 . it was interesting when i found a thread talking about head units clipping and at what volume , it was said the cda 9851 would start to clip arround 23-24 out of 33 and that sounds accurate to what i observed with mine . not a bad deck for the money though .
