2 12's or 1 15?

I wasn't trying to make a vs thread just trying to get peoples opinions on what they prefer and there experiences. Like I said I've only had 12's and 10's. I think I may try the 15 just to try it out. Worst case I don't like it and I just get another 12 and sell the 15. I guess I wanna broaden my horizon. Lol. Again sorry for a vs thread should of left brands out of it.

15's don't really...."sound" like anything. If your new setup with the 15 sounds different than the SA-12's (which it will) it won't be because you went from a 12's to a 15, it'll be because it's a totally different sub setup lol. Otherwise if you use that logic then all 12" sub setups would sound similar. I KNOW you don't think all 12's sound the same right?

There are 15's that sound wonderful and other 15's that sound like poop. The 15's that sound like poop are probably SPL subs that will sound like poop no matter what size basket and cone is attached to the motor. Likewise, the ones that sound good will sound good no matter what size it is. The only way that cone size affects sound is that the bigger ones will pressurize more air and be louder.
