Would the kicker 2500.1 be a good clean amp for this. and should a go with a alt and battery step up also. any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. sorry for being such a noob never had a system of this caliber before just want the best for the subs. Jman08 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Share Posted January 3, 2008 yes that is a good amp but i dont think your supposed to run it at 1ohm daily someone correct me if im wrong so make sure you run it a 2. with the amount of watts that amp puts out you will def need to get an ho alt and another battery or two in back. Polecat Posted January 4, 2008 Report Share Posted January 4, 2008 on full tilt, the ZX2500 will pull about 300 amps, so i would get an extra bat for sure. Run all 0 gauge. To be safe, have Scott build them as dual 2's, and run the ZX2500 daily at 2 ohm and you'll be fine. Behind every great man....is an underwear tag!
