My boy just got the 5002 and it doesn't have what he was hoping for. he lives in a apartment complex is the problem so it won't work from his spot to his place really. He just got his car stolen out of the complex so now hes got his truck. If it were me go with the one mile range for sure. Because of there is a lot of walls and buildings you are screwed. Other than that it works great. 2006 mustang. 20's, lowered, tint, exhaust. put its still an NA v6... for now..1 500/1, 2 300/4's, 1 tc1000 12", cdt es-06+, es-02 tweets...indash/proccessor is on its way. ChevyBoy Posted January 31, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 even if u get the one mile range (the sst series) you cant go through a bunch of walls and shit. the 5002 should have the same range as my 791 and im pretty happy with it. besides, sst is only avail. in the remote start models. i dont want remote start. yes i know i can leave it unhooked or whatever, but i dont want it.
