FordRanger
On both of my subs one lead wire is fried in half, I suggest no one lend their subs out to their friends. Anyways what would be the best route on fixing this? Should I buy some tinsel lead solder it on there and shrink wrap where it meets? Or could I solder on some 12 gauge speaker wire and shrink wrap that? What have you guys done with something like this? 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Ext Cab Pioneer AVH-P23000 Kicker 6x8s (2)Kicker CVX 15's (1) RE Audio XT4000DE V3 MonoBlock Amp Kicker 1/0 Gauge Wiring Kit
bassface
is the coil still good? have you tested it with the ohm meter? If yes to both then yeah just re-soldier it. Although i wonder what caused that to happen.
FordRanger
The coils are still fine, I let a friend borrow my subs and amp. I think it's his electrical because all his past subs have done it. But should I go and order tinsel lead or should I use some speaker wire? 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Ext Cab Pioneer AVH-P23000 Kicker 6x8s (2)Kicker CVX 15's (1) RE Audio XT4000DE V3 MonoBlock Amp Kicker 1/0 Gauge Wiring Kit
