HunterJohnson
Enlighten me why its rated 2400 at 2 ohms 1000 at 1 ohm http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45518_Alpine-MRX-M240.html Quote Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass
Tim Lam
well i know for a fact, that alpine LOVES sticking with the 2OHM stable amps yes they do carry 1ohm amps, but generally 2ohms. with that being said, we see again the most power at 2ohms. im guessing since it's digital, the comp realizes it's less resistance, and i'm guessing the 1000rms at 1ohm is a sort of digital safe mode? idk really but i just know alpine likes 2ohms and they'er damn good amps. Nikitaaa
I wonder how impedence rise would come into play with this amp. I guess if you're wired to 1ohm rise would be your friend.. HunterJohnson
weird to me. Bc I know amps are less efficient the lower the ohms bc they put out more power but suck in alot of AH. (i'm pretty sure i said that right) Quote Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass
