Ceubanks Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 1980 Toyota pickup subwoofers. This truck has literally no room for subs behind the seats and I have (for about a year now) been running a pioneer shallow mount 10 inch sub on a Polk audio pa 880 amp. I am looking to make this install complete by adding another sub (same), and hopefully placing the two in the toolbox built into my custom flatbed. The box would be treated with sound deadening but I was unsure how the system would sound if (the enclosure) was vented into the cab or if the toolbox was vented into the cab in combination with a sealed enclosure. I have never built a vented enclosure and would be very unsure of the required dimensions for these woofers. Also how large of a vent would be required to use with a sealed enclosure in the toolbox. Any input is greatly apreciated. direction of subs is also in question Cody
