87chevyboi Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 ok i am going to be painting my truck soon maybe a month, 2 or 3 months. I painted my mustang before a metallic green which came out good, but with this truck i want it a cocaine white. Just a sexy ass cocaine color, i have not found a white base close to what i want yet, although ive found house of kolor white ice pearl which will pop any white i put it on. My question is does anybody know the correct color for "cocaine white" also does anybody know how to paint on the ice pearl? ive read i put it in my clear and do 2 extra coats of clear with no pearl in it. That way you can cut and buff without having to worry about cutting into your ice pearl flakes. Any tips or tricks to painting id like to hear to... I aint a pro at painting but i kinda know what im doing lol. I got a devilbiss spray gun, im thinking of buying another one to paint the pearl with, What kinda guns for the money would yall recomend?
