I will be using the bondo resin and chop mat. I hope this goes good because next is the doors. I may not have updates till Sunday though. I may be working Thursday night for some more $$$ to get this build done and I have work Friday and Saturday and school the rest of this week. Wish me luck! I will post some pictures in the morning since my phone was dead. I may also slap a second layer of glass on in the morning. Also is one layer of glass enough for a pillar or would 2 layers be better? I have some serious sanding and grinding to do though for these to fit. I found a spot where I didn't put the fabric as tight as I thought but I'll make it it work. Another view of the messed up drivers side... No worries though I am charging the dremel now to grind off these problem areas so they will fit. The only problem is one is angled a little more towards me than the other but it doesn't look completely off so I'm not to worried. Good thing its only one layer I like the angle on the passengers side but the height on the drivers side looks better to me... Good thing I'm only one layer deep... time to try again I guess. It came out great other than a few cracks because I didn't put enough mat in some spots so it was brittle. I will be putting new tape on that door again and fixing the cracks soon . I will start the driver mold soon as well.
