soundsystemaniac
turned the car on the other day- noticed no bass. checked the amp, it was in protect. cycled the ignition, and it came back into green. 15-20 seconds later, the amp started smoking. the bass played for a few seconds and that was it. this was at a low listening level. it appears that a couple resistors are burnt and a capacitor is burnt also. hopefully, there is someone in south florida that could repair it for me. any suggestions anyone? and does anyone know about what the going rate for repair on this amp is?
