gt58
should of at least gone with an audiopipe amp lol. the kenwood is treating it very nicely, with the dd1 tune @ 0db track and no bass boost the sub goes hard as fk. the new psyph morrison makes that little 300 rms sub come to life hahaha
gt58
did one more coat of flat black, decided on skipping the clear coats we will be touching up around the woofer where the tape covered a little bit of the wood. Looks great. How she sound? very clean! i think that the time we spent really made a difference. this was our first box build so of course there is always room for improvement. but at the end of the day we were surprised to see how nice it sounds. we'll try to shoot a video soon

gt58
looks good...why didnt you take the sub out of the box to paint it? just wondering it was already screwed in (we were eager to hear what it sounded like), my drill was busted so it was a mofo to crank by hand. UhOh Spaghetioz
sub still liking the new amp?
gt58
sub still liking the new amp? yeah for being a "300 rms" sub it hits pretty hard. we can bump it full tilt for about 3 or 4 songs then it gets a little stinky, obviously its being overpowered a little. the amp claims 900 @ 2 ohm but im pretty sure the subs getting around 7ish. no complains anywhere with his system. sounds clean, gets low, and is pretty loud

Jessica
my 9105d wired @ 1ohm would do 670 watts at 3ohms after rise, clamped at 13.2 volts. Never got a chance to try other tones to see what it would do right at 1ohm Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside.
