Saturn subs

I want to put 2 15" subs in 1999 saturn sc2. I dont know which subs to use my friend has 2 12" l7s in a big ported box and I want to be louder then him. I was thinking either sundown 2 15" or possibly Orion 15s but orions are expensive. Any ideas which 15"s would be louder but still not super expensive

Too many factors for anyone to answer that question. You have to think build quality, how the subs will play in your car, electrical upgrades, what size amp and most importantly your budget for everything. What do you have in the car now? Are you good at building enclosures? A well built enclosure will make the cheapest subs come to life. So just saying you want to be louder than your friend gives no background as to what would work for you.
