do you have the rcas that are coming from the headunit, going to the right places? like you could have the 4 channel rca's going into the sub input. etc

edit: wait, you have 3 amps?

ground is connected between the chassis and the seat bolt mount.

relocate it. preferably (you have to) put it to one of the places i mentioned.

Evaluate your voltage, and remove the remote wire from your BAMF 2000 and tell us if the 4 channel still gets hot. Ground *might* be ok if voltage is ok. Test both + and - at the amp.

will do, whats the maximum length of wire that my ground wire can be? and only two amps, and the rca's are wired correctly.

try to keep it under three or so feet. hard to imagine your rear strut tower will be farther than your seat...

Ground? that varies. If you go to the chassis with it, keep it as short as possible. Otherwise, run equal size ground straight to the battery. The latter works well.

noob question, what is my strut tower?

the thing that your rear suspension connects to. usually has 3 or 4 lugs on it. either accessible on the sides of the trunk, or behind the rear seats.

looks like this
