I am running 3 RFD2112 Punch HX subs in a 6.75cu. ft enclosure.Running them off a 2001 RF Power 500bd I have 10 ft of 4 inch port material l am wondering about port length will be running 3 ports. am thinking between 10 and 11 inches for each and that should tune me at about 33-36hz. Will be in a 2000 ford explorer sport subs facing rear and ports up but that is entirely flexible it you guys think I would be better of with different config ( eg subs up ports rear or whatever) Clarion CX-501 HU Rockford Fosgate Punch 400-A4 on Rockford Fosgate T152 5.25 in center console and Rockford Fosgate T1682 in front factory Rockford Fosgate T2500-1BDCP on subs 6 12inch RF HX2's in 13.4 cuft. tuned to 30 with port in 47 with it out 240 Amp American Armature Alt 100AH C&D in back Optima Yellow top up front Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pwdrblucivic Posted July 27, 2012 Report Share Posted July 27, 2012 I think you will get a better response with subs up/ port back........done several Exploders with that combo and they were plenty loud.......You can use the calculator at psp inc dot com to figure port length....it gives you the flared and nonflared length.... Sweet deal man thanks exactly what I needed that way I can play around and see what I like best This is an upgrade did have 2 P1's in a sealed 1.8 cube each enclosure rear facing running off a old 1998 Punch 125.2 facing rear managed a 135.6 off music at the dash. I imagine this is going to be a hella louder.
