18"h x 37"w x 34"d..........Port on bottom.....3.75"h x 35.5"w x 30"d........34 hz..........7.2 cubes........ Try the above measurements...........below is an enclosure with that type of port I done a while back...

Sounds like there is something seriously wrong with the design and tuning of your box.......Those 18s ought to be all over that 15".............Of course the types of vehicles you guys have plays a huge role as well...........If his 15" is in a CRX....lol......and your 18s are in a Suburban or Expedition that's not exactly a level playing field......get us some dimensions on your enclosure/port.............

Aeroports will work but it's an extra cost!!!.........You already have the materials for the slot port laying there......nothing else to buy....

that's an upright L port on one end or the other......

How about....subs up/port back............18"h x 37"w x 30"d.....port 15.75"h x 6.25"w x 20"d.......double baffled.........that's about 7.5 cubes net.....33hz

About 3.5 cubes each net will yield some pretty decent results.....

It was 5.75 cubes net.....35 hz tune..........It went in a Jeep Cherokee.........seems like it was 18"h x 42"w x 24"d........port was like 6 inches wide..

It's rated at 1250 rms....2500 max.......Box says it's MADE IN KOREA!!!!.......It's a nice looking amplifier in my book....

Check into some 23/32" Arauco Ply.......I have been using it for years with out issue......Home Depot here has it for $30 a sheet.....Stronger and lighter than MDF........It's also CABINET GRADE!!!!!!!!!

10" is just the blade size. You have to consider the CUTTING WIDTH of the saw...Some 10" saws cut boards up to 30" wide but most of them don't. I think mine goes up to 26" wide on the right side of blade. I usually make my larger cuts with my circular saw and then use the table saw for the smaller box cuts.

This was two DC Level 4 15s.........Box is about 6.5 cubes tuned to 35hz........It went in a Red two door Blazer...

Ok.....thanks guys........maybe it was a grounding issue but like I said it was hooked up to the amp when we done the test on the deck and the light came on right about 25......I will have him bring car by and try it again......I know the DD-1 is good cause it works fine in the demo car........I used track #1 to setup deck and track #7 to setup amp which is the one the manual says use for a louder system...This is the exact same way I set up my amps....I'll just have to try it on his again next time he is around.......

I have used my new DD-1 on several amps since its arrival Saturday but I have a question....The distortion light NEVER came on with the last amp I tried to setup with it.. I done the head unit test first and it distorted at 25 so we set the deck to 24 and started adjusting amp.....I was able to turn the bass boost and gain all the way up....The distortion light never came on.....I tried it several times with same result.....I even took the DD-1 back over to my demo car and tested it again and the light worked like it should......Could it be possible for an amp to go FULL TILT without distortion?
