Nobody23x Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 I had my truck metered by term lab and it topped out on 48 Htz. So what should i tune my box to? I want it to be loud as it can be.
afrakes Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 You know, I'm not 100% sure, and I'm not going to pretend like I know everything because I don't, but I wouldassume that if it tops out at 48 hz, then you box would be loudest tuned to that same frequency playing songs with high tones such as that. jeffrm Posted August 2, 2012 Report Posted August 2, 2012 Not true if your going for straight spl you will have to play around with port length to get it tuned where it needs to be for the most output. Getting loud is hard but chasing numbers is harder. 03 tahoe z71 4 death penalty 18s 2 ampere audio 3800s @ .5 each 18v 156.7 @ 35hz 158.5 @ 50hz
