Since they are ratted at 500 RMS. I don't want to under power them..... what do you guys think? If I could do 2 subs on my amp as opposed to 1 sub the same size then I would go with the subs. jhmeg2 Posted August 2, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2012 no its 450 watts total power at 4 ohms, they are d4 coils, so if i put in two, it will run at 4 ohms, getting 450 total, 225 per sub. if I do one, it can run at 2 ohms and give onw sub 650 its in a single cab 1999 ford f150 SVT lightining. i can fit two easy, but want you guys input if i should do one or two.
