mercx360
Yesterday my friend picked up a Hifonics 1200d monoblock amp to connect to his 2 SVC MTX 5500's. I helped hook everything up, it has power and is grounded but im confused on how to wire the actual subs. The amp has two sets of positive and negative terminals so i know it means something about it being internally bridged. Thanks in advance
LZTYBRN
Yes, they are internally "bridged." You can use one set of terminals or both, doesn't matter. I don't know anything about those subs though. What's the impedance and power handling?

They can take about 300-350 rms each, they are 4 ohm subs
LZTYBRN
Then you can just wire each sub directly to a pair of terminals which will put you at 2 ohms. The amp is supposed to do 900 at 2 ohms, so you may or may not want to turn the gain down.
