BRZ1700.1D troubles (again)

So yesterday im driving to location to record audio for a film, had about a 2 hour drive each way. On my way there, 30 min into the ride, subs cut out, smelled some burning electrical. Subs still not putting anything out, but no more burning electrical smell, so im hoping i just blew a fuse, but i cant check that till i get home tonight. The amp is mounted to my port wall, but so is my alpine 4ch which still works fine. Either way, after i send this in im doing the big 3 (just havent had the time) building a new box, and amp racks. I got a 3 week break coming up from school, and i figure ill use that time to do the box and amp racks.

Was listening to Prodigy when it happened, nothing too bass heavy, and highway driving, with the engine around 2k so the alt should have been doing its job, so i dont think voltage drop killed it (taked to the tech guy at Maxxonics, he said that shouldnt have done it either, thought it might be the box mount, but i told him the alpine has been there for years, either way, its getting replaced.

HC1400 under the hood (car drops to 12.8 at full tilt at idle)

Gains are set 1/4-1/3 way up (closer to quarter)

Bass boss has never been turned on.

Set the gains with a -0dB 40Hz tone

1/0 from front to back

150A fuse in the dist block for the run that goes to the BRZ.

Hopefully its just the fuse, but what do you guys think may have happened? Im definitely doing the box/amp racks and big 3 over my break, which will start right after the amp gets back.
