99blazer Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 I got a couple of questions. my first question is i got a terrible whining noise in my speakers. Ive got my door speakers running on a 4 channel amp. ive googled it and ive tryed many different things like moving the amp ground and unplugging and plugging the rcas. Any ideas on this one? second is i got an extra battery i wanted to put in my truck. im running 4 DDs at 1ohm and my sub amp shuts off when i play it hard and then i get this bad crackling sound in my door speakers. which im taking is from the battery losing power. ive done the big 3 and i upgraded the alternator to a 140amp. and i wanted to know if adding a battery if it would keep the amp running at 1ohm. any help would be awsome 08 Ford F150

99blazer Posted August 7, 2012 Author Report Posted August 7, 2012 its a soundstream 1600.1D and i also got a 640watt 4-channel. i got 1/0 running to the 1600 and 4gauge running to the 4 channel im using a yellow top and a 140 amp alt. 08 Ford F150
