If your batt is in the back then thats where you get your power from. Did a friends magnum and his battery was in the trunk as well and it was very easy.

if my memory serves me correctly, the battery is in the trunk in those cars.

If you want to add an amplifier of decent size, i suggest that you run a new 0 gauge wire from the alternator to the battery in the trunk. then ground the same battery to the frame or strut tower, with the paint sanded off.

edit: then yes, you hook the amplifier up to the rear battery, fusing the power line of course.
