Cameron O'Neill
Hey guys, finally joined the site, been browsing around for a while, but I have come across a problem and I hope I can get some help with it. One of my subs keeps going out on me, I originally fixed it by switching the terminals on the sub, but it looks like both are burnt. Im trying to figure out what is causing this, I attached some pictures to show what I mean. Are they being overpowered, I bought this car with everything in it, so I'm not sure on the specs of the amp, but the subs are 1000 W peak 500 RMS

Cameron O'Neill
what is the name and model of the amp. also have you had the problem before you switched the terms Im not sure, there are two amps in the car, one is under the driver seat and the other under the passenger seat. I cant see what the model numbers are on them and there bolted down and I dont really want to rip them out if I dont have to. And ya it burnt out the one terminal so I switched it to the other one and now it burnt out that one. DTS909
Had a friend buy a avalanche with a system in it and it was hooked up all wrong. Would be a good idea to redo the wiring from start that way you know for sure its hooked up right.
