Guest Posted August 13, 2012 Report Share Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) how speakers sound is completely dependent on how the box is designed. shitty box, subs wont play well. good box, they'll play well. regardless, i'd still take the skars. kicker woofers are meh. what voice coils are the skars? Guest Posted August 13, 2012 Report Share Posted August 13, 2012 4 gauge is fine. but if you want, or if you're upgrading later on, you can just do a run of 0 gauge down to near the amp, into a distribution block, then have 4 gauge coming out of the d-block into the amp. I used to have two kickers 10" in a ported enclosure in my trunk off 100rms.
