Mastradamas Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 I have a 99 maxima gle, and as soon as i put my head unit in it, the gauge cluster will randomly go erratic, sometimes to the beat of the bass, sometimes just to it's own beat. Ive pulled the deck and put the bose back in and the problem went away. i used the metra 7551 wiring harness with low level outputs. ive put a lot of stereos in over the years, but thinking maybe there is something special with the nissan maxima i paid a professional shop to rewire it and it still does it. im at wits end. does anyone know anything about this?
Tebo Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Look up the wiring for your car and use t taps on the wires you need for your radio ses if the problem still happens.
