Dale Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 if you can fit (and afford) the 300 amp alt, then go for it. A big alt is never really an overkill. A good battery in the front and about 2 batteries in the back should be sufficient for you in this case, If you chose to run more power, however (saaay 5kW), I would bump up to a third (or even fourth) battery if I were you.
