C Pillar Wall Question

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone would have input regarding something i noticed in my current setup. I am running the equipment in my signature all at the C-Pillar and am very happy w/ the sound and output, however i noticed that if you sit in the rear seats, there is minimal bass compared to the front two seats. It doesnt sound bad, but hardly any pressure versus sitting in the front seats. Is this common with C Pillar walls?.. Not sure if it is because you are not getting the sound of the waves off of the windshield or what.. does anyone have any input on why this may happen? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just something i was curious about.

i dont understand why this is either. i mean when i sat in the back seat of blakes suburban when he had the 4th order'd 12 15's, it was way more violent than sitting in the front.

I'm not sure either. John Hone's f-350 with a 4th order seems more violent in the back seat also.
