sbg
so i am puting a small set up in my wifes car. and not sure what subs and box to use. i picked up 2 set of 12s today and a small amp.. will post pics.. so the car is a lumina.... the subs i picked up are 2 12" powerbass black series that were in a small sealed box they are dvc 4ohm and 250w RMS next i got 2 12'' kenwood kfc-w112s svc 8ohm 200w RMS in a xscorpion slot port box. the amp is a power acoustik gothic 400 2ch. puts out 210w RMS. so i hooked both sets up in my explorer on the amp and they sound about the same. but im thinking the powerbass subs will out hit the kinwoods in the port box but not sure. what u all think? 01 focus se 110 amp alt Big 3 sky high and stinger hpm ofc 1/0 Super start platinum AGM (starting) 2 runs of 1/0 Execution audio front to back Kenwood double DIN DDx271 A pillars- orion 4" super tweeter and 2-1" alpines. adam6604
i'd personally do the powerbass, DVC 4 ohm > SVC 8ohm in my opinion, and hard to say but personally if it was me putting it in for my girlfriend i'd just put sealed and call it a day. lol Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi.
