scoobywrx05
If you could I'd like Ya to unscrew the second nob the whole way out and pull it right out the back side of the gun . There should be some numbers stamped on the side of the rod. It'll say like 1.8 or 1.5 or 1.3 or something like that. If you can tell me what those numbers are that would be great. scoobywrx05
Yeah it needs a regulator. Only need 10 to 25 psi going into the gun. Depending on what is being sprayed will depend on the pressure needed.
josueh95
do you mean the knob under the top one? i pulled it out but cant find any numbers on it. the gun however has written on the side 40psi/2.7BAR max if that helps at all? -2000 chevy tahoe 5.3 liter v8 -two DC audio level 3 15 inch subwoofers -2 pairs of infinity kappa 60.9cs components -rockford fosgate t1500.1bd for subs -rockford fosgate t400.4bd for mids and highs -alpine deck -big 3 upgrade 0 gauge power cable -optima yellow top battery -custom made subwoofer enclosure 6 cubic feet tuned at 35hz

bsumpter
HVLP stands for High Volume Low Pressure, and 40 psi is prob the max reccomended for the gun. Mid 20's to 30 is about where it should be. The point of the the regulator is to keep a consistent control of the air, helps in laying the paint/clear. And the number should be on the cap, not the needle. Take the air cap off and you might have to unscrew the tip, and it should say what size tip it is. Should look like #
