Stiatic sound, suggestions?

Hey SMD,

long story short, I have a set of RE XXX 6.5 components in the kick panels, i have a set of boston 4" components in the A pillars, i also have 3 sets of cheaper tweeters in the pillars. My RE comps sound crystal clear. The Boston comps, and tweeters have some static coming thru them at low volume. I have used the CC1 and they are not clipping at all. I have changed head unit and this does not change anything. The amp running them is an Audio pipe 4 channel, not great but it works for now. the RE comps are ran off a seperate channel than the bostons. But from the same amp so i don't think the amp is the poblem. the tweeters have capacitors on them, but no cross over other than the amp. The comp sets obviously have cross overs on them. Could this be as simple as needing cross overs on the tweeters? Or just a price to pay for buying cheap tweeters? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
