jesse55 Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 right now have polk db651s in rear doors db6501 in front doors run off a kenwood kac-7205 amp. im happy with the sound i get out of them but now need bass. i have an alpine sws-1243d and (2) 8 inch infinity reference 860w. what kind of power should i be running? should i split a monoblock to them? also is the alpine any good? should i upgrade? i purchased 2 JBL GTO1004's because i got them for a steal but i dont think they are good for what im doing so im going to sell them.
jesse55 Posted August 24, 2012 Author Report Posted August 24, 2012 no help?? sold one of those jbl amps. what amp should i buy now for the (2) 8"infinitys and the alpine 12"? also in the future i will be upgrading the alpine. i was thinking of getting a 1000w mono and running it to all 3 then in the future use that for a single 12 and get another 500w for the infinitys

Mixing and matching is something you shouldn't do with subs.
