95legwagon Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 its not for my car BUT i took out my a/c compressor and now theres a HUGE spot next to my alt...... my stock alt says 85 amps.... had it bench tested and it puts out 95 amps faithfully...... @ 13.8v this alt says 140 amps....@ 14v and lines up almost perfectly to my a/c bracket. meaning the bottom two bolt holes match up perfect and if i bolt it down i cant move it whatsoever. how about i run my stock alt for my car and my 4 channel and this other alt for my sub amp and battery bank? because they both charge at different voltage i dont wanna mix the two on the same circuit and cause huge problems ie: fire. how this look? just testing to make sure it fits and indeed looks like it fits and the pulleys look very aligned ( doesnt look like it in the pic)..... any ideas for the top hole? or does it even matter considering i cant budge it any which way i push or pull it.... pics: the two bolt holes to the right of the belt is for the tensioner for the 2nd belt.... top mounting hole suggestions? you can see the crank pulley for the second belt down there....lil rusty lol its a 4 groove belt and this alt has a 6 groove overrun pulley but it would physically work! if it wasnt clutched backwards to my engine rotation lol time to buy another pulley! sits right on the dipstick.... imma hafta bend it a lil to the right..... i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks. / LOL My Low Budget Build: Green 1995 Subaru Legacy wagon 147k- $1K headunit- pioneer premier deh-p650-$25 4 Lead acid batts. 1 up front and 3 in back- vented outside.- $50 4 vvme L11 10"s <- $30 shipped a piece 6 cu. ft box (after displacment) tuned to 32ish hz with 10 inch sonotube. -about $50 all together maybe a lil more 2 aspm 1300 strapped Selenium 6"s in the front doors on headunit power- for now -$20 quantum tweets in door-for now -$10 boston acoustic 5 1/4 in rear doors- for now-Free big 3 1/0 and 4awg throughout. roof sound deadened (not peel n seal ftw)-free on 80 amp alt (bench tested to put out 100 amps faithfully) <--?-$10 for test about $430 for everything<----Not bad at all still gotta add 3 way crossover, amp for front and rear door speakers and maybe eq
