Add an amp to a Chevy Bose system

My dad has a 2003 Chevy Avalanche with the Bose system and on-star and the 6 disc with XM ect, and he wants to add a RF R500-1D to the system WHILE RETAINING the Bose amps and XM and on-star ect.

There are some harnesses out there but it makes it sound like you have to bypass the bose amp.

Any ideas?

doubt youll be able to run both. Itl most likely sound better with the r500 in it then the bose. he he trying to run everything on the 1 r500?

You may be able to run a line out converter. I don't personally have any experience with them and don't know how they work on a stock amplified system, so maybe someone with experience will chime in.
