Avery Howell Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 My dad has a 2003 Chevy Avalanche with the Bose system and on-star and the 6 disc with XM ect, and he wants to add a RF R500-1D to the system WHILE RETAINING the Bose amps and XM and on-star ect. There are some harnesses out there but it makes it sound like you have to bypass the bose amp. Any ideas? REVOofRustler Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 You may be able to run a line out converter. I don't personally have any experience with them and don't know how they work on a stock amplified system, so maybe someone with experience will chime in. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz
