matt14 Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Jumped on the termlab thanks to Alpine. Previously i had a 4th order with the equipment in my sig with NO bracing, did a 145.4 @37. Add 100 sqft of second skin then me and skittles built the same box but with all thread for bracing- 147.4 @37. No matter what we tried we couldnt gain any more other then a 148.1 when the mic was in the kick and door open. Was very consistent with the 147. To be honest though, I was for sure thinking that it was quiter then before. Didnt sound as loud as before, but maybe do to it sounding like a tin can before thats why. But overall, very pleased with the gain that I had. Love the way it sounds right now. But, I bought another mayhem and already have a box I got off Ray when i bought his mayhem. So going to throw that in tomorrow and maybe in a week or two re-meter it to see if i had gained at all. Dont think I will since right now im wired at 0.7 and going up to 1.4, but well see. 2006 GMC YukonPioneer HU SHCA ran throughout Crescendo BC3500 One 18 AA Mayhem in a 4th order ZED Levithian 6 channel Rainbow Dual 6.5 comps ran Activehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155628-matt14s-yukon-mayhem-in-a-4th-ordernew-amps-and-bats/page-3
