What battery should i use?

I found an optima Yellow top for under my hood for 154$ bran new from optima

i am looking for a high output battery with the highest output that i can fit in my stock location under the hood of my Chevrolet Caviler.

Also i live in a usa/canada border city and it gets to -45F and need a batt with good cca

any suggestions about Shrunken, Optima, Kinetic, Xs, Juicebox, ect. that can give good performance for similar price

my car needs a class 72 or 75 battery or 25/75

the optima is 48ah, 100rc, 770ca, 620cca

i am struggling with the same issue right now and all the research i have done and from the reviews i have read it looks like xs would be the best for the price. but ill keep looking and keep you posted.

Sweet you are running MOFO's like me. With the cold weather i find car audio batteries lack BIG TIME so i decided to go with the optima under my hood because i know it will be able to start my car in cold weather where an Xs cannot. if i were in California where that is not an issue i would go car audio batt all the way.

However i still need one for my trunk i am seen an Xs xp950 for 130$ and an Xs d680 for 140$ and know nothing in the difference in models.

Did the optima help your voltage at all. I have shitty walmart one and im starting to dip down to 11.8 or so every now and then. I have a zx750.1 and the gain is litterally 1 notch up. So when i get my new set up and have to turn it up im afraid its gonna hurt it even worse.

it helped me in the sense that i am not going through batteries (killing batteries from excessive current draw) since it is a deep cycle and starting also its double post design allowed me to do the big 3 on top posts while my car mounted to the side posts. in these ways it helped allot
