Sundown sa 12 2 ohm or 4 ohm?

I need some advice on which sa 12 to get. I will be running one sa 12 in a 2 cube ported box tuned to 34 hz but I'm not sure whether to get the 2 ohm or the 4 ohm version. I have a JX500/1D amp that will be powering the one sub. I realize that these subs can handle alot more juice but this is the only amp I have at the moment. I'm somewhat new to car audio and I just want this sub to be loud and hit hard.( The enclosure is in the back of a 2002 tundra access cab). Will I also get much cabin gain in this vehicle? Any info would be greatly appreciated and thanks!

you need to get the dual 4 ohm version. then you need to parallel the wires to drop it down to 2 ohms where your amp pushes the 500 rms. so connect positive to positive and negative to negative on the sub and then run them to your amp. negatives will go to negative and positives to positive

I think it's only 2 ohm stable i don't see anything about it being 1 ohm stable. The specs say 500 W RMS x 1 @2ohm 400 W RMSx 1 @ 3ohm 300 W RMSx1 @ 4ohm. So a 4 ohm sa 12 sounds like the way to go?
