im in need of advice for speakers im thinking of getting. i have a buddy who can order audio stuff for cheaper than i ca buy them in the store so iv been looking into getting the infinity kappa 6.5 component speakers, ill be running them off my kicker zx 350.4, there 2 ohm speakers is that combined with the tweeter or will it be just the driver? also i was looking into a set of alpine type s compnents there cheap and can handle 80 rms at 4 ohms, basically my question is how to wire the spekers up to my amp and which speakers will work better? the infintys scream and i havent heard the type s yet but i ordered some for buddy. theres like a $200 differnce on the 2 pairs and the specs of the amp is 60 rms @ 4 ohms and 90 @ 2 ohms im running some 2 ways right now running at 4 ohms. any help will be appriciated.

The ohm's are when the comps are connected through the passive crossover network. If you are going to run only one set. I would go with Alpine type s and bridge the amp at 4 ohms for more power then the 2 ohms to the infinity's. Or go active and each mid range and tweet gets a channel with more power going to the mids and you can gain down the tweets( in case of any harshness).
