jlmtx2002
I'm in the process of designing a new enclosure for 2 DAD BD 15's. Powered by 2 Massive Audio N4's. Trying to design a sub up, center port up enclosure across the rear floor of my Chevy crew cab.(Removing the rear seats.) So for I have 18"H,58"W,18"D with the port 16.5x5.5x28.5. Using .75 mdf, 1 extra baffle, .40 sub displacement, Its telling me my physical port length is 21.5. With that being being the case following the center line on sketchup i come with the ports being 11.75" long with no bend. Something doesnt seem right to me. Any help would be very helpful and appreciated.

Jessica
ok, physical port length is the actual port wall length. Not counting baffles. see the pic below. In my pic i forgot to subtract the extra baffle so the back wall is .75" too long. But you can see that port down the center is the right length. Remember that hen a center port bends you have to reduce width by 1/2 along the back wall. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside.
