good strapable amps or one big one?

i was wondering if you guys could offer any strapable amps. all the things i can find is older amps from like 2008 posts and so on. my budget is around $500 and if i cant find 2 good strapable amps im going to go with the hifonics colossus 3200 because i need at least 2000 at 2 ohms.

for that price, id say look aroud for a used sundown 3000....or a crescendo 3500 for a tad bit more. It's more efficient and theres less that can go wrong with one big amp. Someone on here did some testing that a single amp can be more powerful than 2 amps strapped to put out the same power

i would go with this but i'm a poor college student with a sams club income haha. plus my dad would flip shit if i spent around 700 on an amp. thats why im kind of stuck with not to many options. gotta get the best of the worst kindof deal.
