"Linking or Strapping" is when you connect 2 amps to one sub and run it like that. When doing this you usually have a master and a slave. The master controls the slave so there is no need for that. This will allow you to control all the amplifiers that are on the subwoofer output. I use one with my sub amps and don't have any problem.
