A crappy prefab box is not a stable base and a torching trunkfloor isn't eather. I always mount my amp on a ,5 inch MDF plate covered with the thick acoustic fabric and some underneath and hope this will protect against some vibrations... My car has been lowered, but after 10 years no issues. and hope for 10 more to come as I still love it.
