Anyways heres my 89' W124 Mercedes! My car & my Dads car... I didnt want to go with the stock size rear deck speakers cuz it was only 5.25 & since my trunk is sealed wanted to let some air flow through the trunk. Not the best looking but its just what I need for now. Carlos Tj Posted October 22, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 22, 2012 I've had this set up for about a year and a half now maybe almost 2 years. & what I hadn't mentioned was that I also installed two 10 inch Audiobahn subs in the trunk but for some reason I cant find pictures of that. But I'll show you what I did this past week. I got 3 10inch CVR's for my whip & well I installed them in my W124! I actually just found a couple of pics of when I took them out to install the new CVR's! Only had a brand new RF Punch 300-1 laying around so I decided to use that with these brand new subs. Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X494 4inch RF Punch series front deck with MD Audio tweeter! 6x9 FR Punch series rear deck! & this is what my trunk looks like! It may not be the loudest but its well ballanced! theres some highs, midbass & some bass! Nothing overpowers the other its all well balanced & it even sounds clear from a distance! I'm happy with my install! Might add a couple of things in the future & ill keep you guys posted -Thanks for watching!
