question on voltage?

maybe its me but i find this werid, i have a new car, 02 grand am and i have a audioque 1200d, ketneik hc1200, optima yellow top up front and big 3 is not done, only the battery neg to ground..anyway i hooked my volt meter up today and i played full tilt, my voltage only dropped to 14.1 now the same song in my old car, the volts dropped to 13.6 and i had the full big 3 and same stuff...stock alt as for as i know..i understand this is a good thing..now this bring me to my question, i have a dd-1 its set on -5db track...since my voltage is better could i set it to -10db without clipping? i know voltage helps alot to

Reason for different voltage drops is different behicles diffeeent grounds different alternators, etc. Yes you can step up to -10db track but be very aware of box tuning , notes, music and just how much power your pushing. Watch voltage and watch music you play. No clip city bitch music. You will probably drop to 13,5s now.

i have 2 12 sundown sa's and my box is tuned to 36hz 1.7 per chamber

and clip city bitch you mean rack city? or dj slow n throw? lol

I was just joking and meaning make sure you dont play clipping music. As for watch you box tuning so you dont play way out of tuning full tilt.

i dont play below 30hz full tilt..

i normally play decaf and reg rap music...def dont play dj slow n throw tho
