I feel for ya man. I have been fortunate enough to live in a somewhat decent neighbourhood (saying that because I have caught faggots door-walking/checking my car and truck before). I am sorry for that man but look at the bright side time to upgrade!!!! Also I know you probably know this but get an alarm man. It is the last resort I find to help resist thieves when they decide they are gonna try and break in. Good luck!
