K_Franklin_A
Before I was knowledgeable on car audio I bought a Hifonics BXiPRO2.0 bass reconstructor and now that I'm about to purchase 2 Fi 15's and amps for them I am unsure if I should continue to use it or not, I have heard they can distort the music. What do you guys think? 8ight
This question gets asked a lot, I hear they are good for bringing out the bass in music that lacks it where it should be present. Many friends of mine who listen to a lot of Latin music have had good results with Epicenters and other processors. I'm gonna hate
K_Franklin_A
Ya I've heard the same in the research I've done, but also was told by a local car audio store that it can destroy your amp, whether that's true or not I'm not sure. If its not going to hurt my system I would like to keep it considering it would just sit in my garage if I took it out. c.director
I don't think you would really need it, If you listen to Decaf/Rap/etc it isn't going to help and probably hurt a bit.. Latin music/maybe a few other genre's are the only ones i've ever seen it do any good, though I didn't have my DD-1 at the time I was messing with one for a friend, so I couldn't tell if it was distorting or not. EDIT: My experience is with an epicenter, I imagine there all pretty similar though..
